Monday nights are our special “National Craft Month” series focusing on GREEN CRAFTING.
Tonight (Monday 6:30pm) we are going to UPCYCLE colorful magazine pages into paper beads then fashion them into a cuff style bracelet. Click here to register.
Tuesday Night 6:30pm – Artist Trading Cards Workshop – The techniques we’re covering this week is Leaf Resist, Inky Layers and Stenciling. Come and play with us. We had a blast last week and this week promises more of the same. Click here to register.
Tuesday Night 8pm – Soldering – Learn the basics to make your very own soldered pendants and charms. You will make one 1″x3″ pendant and one 1″x1″ charm with attached jump rings ready to wear. Bring your own imagery if you want, or use our studio stash. Click here to register.
Wednesday 6:30pm – Altered Mirror – Cover 32 chipboard tiles with your choice of paper, ink & embossing powder, crackle paint, and bits & pieces for a beautifully customized mirror ready to hang in your home or give as a gift. Click here to register.
Wednesday 8pm – Metal Sampler – Cover an 8″x8″ board with hand embossed art metal. Make a focal point with a grid of 9…hearts…flowers…stars….you decide the shape and color. Click here to register.
Thursday 6:30pm – Altered Books Workshop – The altered book is an art form in which artists recycle or transform existing books into new works of art. The book, an artwork in itself, becomes a canvas for new ideas and images. This week we’ll focus on collaging and stitching. Click here to register
Thursday 8pm – Intro to Epoxy – This two part mixative adds a glass like dimention to whatever you pour it on. We will fill a pendant, cover a dog tag and a stamped domino in class. You will leave your items to cure (takes 24-48hrs) and pick them up later. Click here to register
Sunday – 10:30am – Soul Collage with Julie Valentine. SoulCollage is a process through which you contact your intuition and create an incredible deck of cards which have deep personal meaning and which will help you with life’s questions. Click here to register
Sunday 1pm – Lentil Beads with Pat Evans – Learn how to create pure silver hollow beads with amazing silver metal clay. You’ll learn how to roll and emboss the clay for texture, how to dry over forms for shape, and finally some dry assembly techniques. Click here to register
Monday 6:30pm – Going Green for National Craft Month – Create handmade paper infused with seeds. This paper can be used as embellishments on greeting cards that can be planted! Click here to register
