The good news of the day is that Molly is eating enough to have had her feeding tube removed today.
Thank you all so much for your overwhelming love and support. She will be back at the studio very soon…perhaps even Tuesday!

I just wanted to let everyone know that Andrea was able to pick Miss Molly up and bring here home yesterday. I had several text reports through out the evening and things are looking up!! She was happy and purring and from this picture you can see that she was doing the very, very best thing. Eating!!
Thanks once again for all of you continued support and kindness! We will keep posting updates of our girl here on the blog and in the newsletter

thank you, thank you, thank you July 2, 2009

The last couple of days have been overflowing with kindness…we had no idea what would happen we shared the news about Molly and asked for your help – well what happened is that we have been overwhelmed with love and support!
Everyone has been so generous it is truly amazing….saying thank you doesn’t even seem to be enough – we have received envelopes in our mail slot, checks in the mail and quarters at the register. Not to mention all of the emails just wishing Molly well – you can’t believe how much this support means to us!! The kindness in our community is beyond imagine. It truly means the world to us!! So Thank you once again.
Several of you have brought in carriers – Thank you – we have what we think will be a pretty good home for her. A better home might be one of the wire cages so she has more of a view…but we can’t have one that is too big (since it has to fit in the studio somewhere) so if you happen to have one of those let us know. The ideal size would be 2 x 3 feet or so.
Molly remains in the pet hospital for another day or so….they are trying to get her to keep some food in her tummy…until that happens we can’t bring her home. She is being well taken care of and actually is seeming a bit annoyed about having to be there which is a good sign…it means she is getting some energy back.
We will post here and in the newsletter more news as we get it.
Your support is a real gift and we treasure it with all of our hearts…
Andrea, Christina and Molly!
p.s. if you put a envelope in the mail slot without your name we would really love to know who you are:)

We could use your help! As many of you know our sweet girl Molly has been in the animal hospital for over a week now. She has a failing liver and although the prognosis has been up and down we are hoping that the worst is over. The hospital stay, the tests and the surgery to put in a feeding tube have added up very quickly and to help defray the costs (nearly $2k) we are having a raffle.
To participate all you need to do is come in and buy a ticket for a $1. All of the tickets that have been purchased will go in the “hat” and on July 14th we will pick the lucky winner.
The prize pack includes goodies from a variety of manufactures like Creative Imaginations, Tinkering Ink, Bazzill and more – in addition there will be a $20 gift certificate to the store and a $20 gift certificate to the studio. We are also going to toss in an Elva’s gift card so you can get a treat.
We would so appreciate any help that you can give us. We are also looking for a kennel that we can borrow for about a month since we will need to keep Miss Molly confined while we feed her through the feeding tube. Just give us call or email us if you can help on this front. To purchase a ticket stop by the store, give us call (408)266-1005 or send us an email. If you want to mail in a check to purchase the raffle ticket(s) send it to 2196 Lincoln Avenue, San Jose 95125.
We can’t thank you enough for helping out our Molly. Your prayers are appreciated.
Sincerely,
Christina, Andrea & Molly

I couldn’t be more excited…I love the Creative Cafe product line and the new additions are just amazing…Danelle and Allison out did themselves this time.
The papers and epoxy are great but I have to say I am most thrilled about the felt butterflies!
We did get a few other things…including new issues of Scrapbook Trends and re-stocks on Simply Swank…
Enjoy the eye-candy!

I have been taking pictures everywhere i go these days – what I have found is there is art and inspiration all around me. These pictures are from yesterday…just things that made me happy and feel like being creative. The plan is to try and do this once a week.
It will be a great way to document my week and to keep track of things that inspire my creative juices…who knows it might be from around the store or the house or just pictures off the street
ENJOY
